Shramik Janata Vikas Sanstha began with a deep understanding of the social and economic challenges faced by communities in the Jaoli and Mahabaleshwar blocks of Satara district.
Inspired to create meaningful change, Mr. Aadinath Ombale mobilized local youth in 1987. The early work supported families affected by the Koyna Dam project while building confidence through agriculture, dairy development and access to government welfare schemes.
Local youth and families came together across 22 villages.
The initiative grew into Shramik Janata Vikas Sanstha.
A vision shaped by a deep understanding of the social and economic challenges faced by rural communities.
Shramik Janata Vikas Sanstha works to improve the lives of people in remote and underdeveloped regions of Satara district, Maharashtra. The organization began by mobilizing local youth in the Jaoli and Mahabaleshwar blocks and building solutions around real community needs.
The early work focused on families affected by the Koyna Dam project, confidence building, dairy development and agriculture.
Early community initiatives grew into a registered organization committed to sustainable social and economic development.
Today, the organization supports women, tribal communities, marginal farmers, rural families and working animals.
